This little bird house gift box is to hold some chockies or some sort of bits and pieces I want seen through the little door opening. I have used the Bird Builder Punch for all of the Foliage on the box too.
I find the Bird Builder Punch very versatile, I can use the foliage and build it into stems of leaves. I can use the wing as leaves or petals of flowers. There are all sorts of ways you can use the bird template.
I constructed a box and then made a flat lid to cover the box. I then made the roof to fit on top of the box. As a finish off I used my two little ladies I had quilled a while a go as props for the photo. If you do not have this special Designer Card you could replace it with Crumb Cake Card Stock with either the Hardwood Stamp or maybe the Wood Grain Folder, to add grain lines to the cardstock.
